All ingredients are produced in Japan, including toasted seaweed from Ariake and sea lettuce from Ise-Shima, and no artificial sweeteners, synthetic food colorings, or preservatives are used. Born out of a desire to offer tsukudani that is truly delicious, we have carefully selected the ingredients to create a taste that you will never tire of. Every step of the process is done by hand to ensure that the nori is at its most flavorful and delicious. You can enjoy it in a variety of ways by mixing it with your favorite condiments, such as wasabi, mustard, or Japanese mustard. Nori is very rich in nutrients, and vitamin C, which is said to be sensitive to heat, can be ingested without being destroyed. In addition, since only Japanese people can digest raw nori, we make our tsukudani using toasted nori so that people from other countries can enjoy it as well.

About Us
Kyudai was founded in 2001 as a contract IT-related service provider. We then drastically downsized our IT business and started manufacturing and selling tsukudani (food simmered in soy sauce) in 2020. We have established in-house infrastructure for the production of nori tsukudani (toasted nori seaweed simmered in soy sauce), which is handmade using 100% domestically sourced ingredients.
Our corporate philosophy is “To enrich the lives of all parties involved” and “To bring smiles to the faces of our customers.” Our products are named after the parents of our CEO, as a token of gratitude. A facility for people with special needs is also involved in their production.
Based on our motto of “Eat for happiness! Eat for health!”, it is our hope that food will contribute to enriching people’s lives.
