Aiming to recreate the history of our hometown, "Shimizu tiles," we lovingly handcraft each one.

We are a company that has been constructing roof tiles in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture for 53 years. Shimizu tiles once flourished as a local industry in the Shimizu region of Shizuoka Prefecture, but the heavy rains of 1974 brought a slow end to the industry. We love this traditional local industry and have revived it as Shimizu tiles using modern technology. In order to weave the broken history and pass on the fascinating industry of our hometown to the next generation, we are actively working to create a connection between tiles and their culture.
