• The ideal roasting level for aroma is slightly different from the ideal roasting level for taste.

Instead of compromising, we devised a groundbreaking technique: roasting the same batch of beans at two different levels and blending them together. This method enhances both aroma and flavor, resulting in an unparalleled depth and balance that no single roast can achieve. While this process requires double the effort, it ensures a superior taste experience that is worthy of our exceptional wild Kopi Luwak.

Directly Sourced from the Jungles of Sumatra, Indonesia

Our quest for the finest Kopi Luwak led us deep into the dense jungles surrounding Lake Toba, in North Sumatra, Indonesia—a remote location that takes over five hours by car from the nearest city, Medan.

While Kopi Luwak originated in Aceh, we specifically chose the Mandheling region around Lake Toba due to its superior coffee varieties, such as Lington, LINI.S, Bourbon, Kartika, and S795. Unlike some farms where civet cats are caged and force-fed coffee cherries, our Kopi Luwak is 100% wild-harvested—our team treks through the jungle, carefully searching for naturally deposited beans.

The journey is physically demanding, with steep terrain and sudden tropical downpours, but the reward is a truly authentic, wild-sourced Kopi Luwak with an exquisite Mandheling character—a complex aroma and deep, rich umami.
